Treatment of skin inflammations
Huidkliniek Parkstad uses the medically certified Diode MeDioStar laser to treat skin inflammations. By removing the hairs and hair follicles—often a contributing factor to inflammation—fewer new inflammations will develop over time. Since the hair follicles are also removed, the inflammations are less likely to return.
On average, 5 to 10 treatments are needed to achieve good results. These treatments are scheduled every 4 to 6 weeks, allowing the skin time to recover while also targeting newly emerging hairs and inflammations. Thanks to the built-in cooling system, the treatment is generally well tolerated.
